plev (-ve), s.n. – (Bucov.) Vas de tablă. germ. Blech "tinichea". E dubletul lui pleu (var. bleu, plef, blef), s.n. (Trans., tinichea), din mag. pléh (Candrea). – Der. pleuar, s.m. (Trans., tinichigiu); pleviţă, s.f. (placă metalică din josul leucei; întăritură din metal la o piesă crăpată), a cărui legătură cu sl. plenica "lanţ" (Miklosich, Lexicon, 571; Cihac, II, 265) este dubioasă. cf. privită.
