şlais1, şlaisuri, s.n. (reg.) 1. (în forma: şlaif) canal prin care ies plutele din hait. 2. stăvilar prin care se reglează debitul apei din canalul morii. 3. (la pl.) întăritură făcută la ţărmul unui râu, pentru ca apa să nu-l surpe.
